My Process

My Mood Kit asks you to firstly identify your present emotion by a process of interacting with art.

This is an ongoing process, which requires some introspection and some self-work. Hopefully you will also discover some subtle changes in the way you approach life, society and your own inner thoughts. 

 

You do not need to have any sophisticated understanding of these paintings, their creators or their style or content. 

 

All we ask is that you pick one which speaks to you and how you feel at the time.

 

We have listed on the next page most of the common emotions which at some time or other affect how we see or feel about ourselves. Not all of these emotions are negative or self-destructive. Some are positive and constructive. Both may benefit from creative ways of support which assist in moving forward in more fulfilling ways with our lives.

 

Our psychological and emotional beings are receptive to many subtle interventions like art, music, visualisations, diet, organic and natural remedies and focused breathing techniques which have been an integral part of mystical and yoga practice for many centuries. 

 

My Mood Kit will personalise a process for you to use through the interaction of art and music in short periods of self-work and also offer the further options of meditative visualisation using a technique called yoga nidra and specific natural Bach Flower remedies http://www.bachflower.com/

We  would like you to make notes, sketches, colour in, and doodle as you go through the process as a record of your progress.

To assist in framing a neutral frame of mind before beginning we have produced this five minute meditation which will centre your thinking and intentions.
