Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation....

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation which is designed to safely bring you into contact with universal archetypes or 'primordial images,' a term coined by the Swiss psychiatrist Karl Jung as being innate in our psyches, to describe universal prototypes for ideas and may be used to interpret observations in a meditatitive process. 

In this process you will be asked to gently follow the directions of my voice and to simply be as aware as you are able in observing the images and paths which you take. Once again, we want to try to use as much of your five senses as possible: seeing where we are, hearing the sounds around us, feeling the ground beneath our feet and the air on our skin, smelling the scents in the air and tasting where we come into contact with natural elements. 

Do not have any pre-conceptions of what you think you need or want to achieve from this exercise. Just be in it as completely as possible.
